How do you recruit professionals on the site ?
We recruit each professional after having seen and/or heard at least once. We are anxious to make available for you professionals as "partners" to meet our quality requirements. Each professional has been trained to update its planning for availability.
How is the conduct and/or content of the visit realised ?
The visits descriptions given are mainly historical. By default the title of the visit determines its conduct and/or content.
How to modify slightly the conduct and/or content of the visit ?
After performing the complete reservation of the service desired, you will receive a confirmation email where all elements will be notified and the coordinates of the professional. You will then need to make contact with him to advise you, and depending on your desires, he will validate whether the new process and/or content of the visit. Example of a slight modification : time to visit a place, order of the visit...
Is the meal for the professional is compulsory for every tour ?
If during the service you plan a lunch/dinner break, the meal of the professional must be supported. Choice, you can add the supplement meals on our website (20€), or set him on the spot.
Should you precise the meeting point ?
A choice of meeting place is given by default in the regular and private tours tabs. A payable free pick-up is proposed in option, if you select this option, you will have to tell us the address in the free part of the form. This place must be within the geographical part of the city and must be reachable by public transport, in order to validate the demand. For the other tabs "Tour Guides, Tour Leaders, and Assistants", you will have to specify the exact location, and if it is a hotel for example, please tell us the complete address for the good of the service (postal code, telephone number, etc).
How can we add additional information on my reservation ?
In the final reservation form, you will have the possibility to add in the part 6 of the from "Additional information for the professional and our reservation service", give the elements you want.
What does the "right to speak" in a site, museum, monument, castle mean ?
The "right to speak" is a reservation (official authorization), to browse a site, museum, monument or castle to make a tour with an outside professional instead. This "right to speak" can be applied for a visiting group or individual visit. It may be free or payable, but in all cases mandatory and regulated. It is synonymous to speak aloud in the enclosed area visited. Only authorized : conservatives, teachers with their students, interpreters, guides (national or regional) and speakers, licenced with a professional card issued in France by the Ministries of Tourism and Culture. This "right to speak" is only valid for the duration of the visit. Each site, museum, monument or castle has its own policy and regulation.
How to book visits during more than 1 day (tour) ?
For these specific demands, thank you to write us an
email specifying exactly your needs. The language, date, venue and duration are the 4 elements minimum so that we can react promptly.
How to modify/cancel my reservation ?
To modify/cancel your reservation, you must send us an email at
resa@akopso.com with the reservation number in order to be treated. A fee may be applied in relation to our cancellation policy.

Do you propose temporary exhibitions ?
We propose the possibility to book a guide-interpreter for temporary exhibitions in many cases. The management of schedules is very specific to each institution, it is safer for us to manage by email each demand with a description of your needs exactly. The title of the exhibition, date and language of the visit are the 3 elements minimum so that we can react promptly.
Do you offer translation services on the site ?
We do not offer this kind of online service. However, we can find a solution if you send us an
email specifying exactly your needs.
