Swiss Normandy is Normandy, straddling between Calvados and Orne. Its name comes from the rugged and verdant, with gorges carved by the Orne River and its tributaries, by erosion in the Massif Armorican, between Putanges-bridge Écrepin and Thury Harcourt. The banks of the river with steep terrain and a large forest. On the hills, fields of small size and steep, are often bordered by thick hedges or granite walls with dense vegetation. Mount Pinçon, which culminates at 345 meters is the highest point of the Normand Switzerland. The churches, houses and farm buildings have a style closer to that found in the Channel, rather than timbered Auge.
